 The airport is located at the intersection of Bigou River, Nanjiaolai River and Dagu River, 11 kilometers northeast of jiaozhou city, Qingdao, with low terrain. In addition, the Dagu River section at the airport is a water source protection site and water storage reservoir in Qingdao, which is less than 10 kilometers away from the sea. A rubber dam for water storage is built downstream of it, and the normal water level of the river in rainy season is affected by many factors. According to the plan, a flood control dam is designed around the new airport in Qingdao. The designed terrain elevation of the airport side in the flood control dam is more than 6m, while the 100-year flood level of the river outside the flood control dam is more than 11m. To sum up, the design of airport drainage, flood control and drainage is extremely important because it involves airport safety.

With the participation of the Architectural Design and Research Institute of Tongji University, China Civil Aviation Airport Construction Group Corporation has designed four drainage zones according to the terrain, and a rainwater regulating pool and a rainwater lifting drainage pump station are built at the two ends of each drainage zone, that is, the east and west runways. Because the designed terrain elevation of the airport is lower than the 5-100-year flood level of the peripheral rivers, the rainwater pumping stations in each drainage zone are designed according to the dual requirements of drainage and drainage. It is recommended to adopt imported large submersible axial-flow pump equipment manufacturers. Determine the parameters of single pump equipment:

  Connected with the technical department of the headquarters, the CFD fluid analysis report was used to answer a series of questions about controllable sediment content, simultaneous start-up of multiple pumps, soft start parameters, automatic control, wellbore fixing scheme and so on. After several rounds of communication in the early stage, as well as the airport's evaluation of Liancheng enterprise's scale,  design, technology, equipment, testing and other capabilities, and field visits to its application performance. Eliminate the doubts about the product strength of domestic manufacturers and get the opportunity to bid with imported brands.
  In the end, with the technical scheme of imported brands on a par, we won the bid in one fell swoop in the comprehensive bid evaluation of the government procurement platform and won the supply contract for 30 sets of pumps. For the first time, the domestic large-scale axial flow pump is applied in large airports and key working conditions.
  Adhering to the attitude of being highly responsible for the airport project, Liancheng cooperated with the airport, and the airport sent personnel to supervise the manufacture of pump equipment; Before the delivery of the first batch, the airport expert group, the chief engineer of imported brand technology and the professor of fluid specialty in famous domestic universities conducted a real machine test on the fluid and mechanical properties of the pump at the national first-class test bench in Taicang. The test data reached or exceeded the design parameters, and the axial flow pump successfully passed the factory inspection under the witness of all parties.
  Since the super typhoon "Lichima" on the 9 th of 2019, Liancheng Pump has passed the baptism of many heavy rains, which has successfully guaranteed the airport to smoothly survive various floods. The local after-sales service team was invited to run with the rain red warning, gave the wintering technical scheme in winter, regularly inspected the equipment status, and fulfilled the brand's promise to customers with high-quality and efficient service.
At the beginning of the new year, the domestic large aircraft C919 started intensive verification flight, and it is planned to fly for 100 hours on 9 routes, including Qingdao. Since Liancheng Axial-flow Pump and the first pump station were put into operation in 2019, four pump stations have guarded the airport's safety, with stable equipment operation and effective personnel cooperation. The domestic large-scale axial-flow pump has won the trust and praise of the airport.
